The Imitation Game : Love or "Love"?

We all so proud of our love. For so many times. Love towards our boy/girlfriend, our parents, our best friends or even our self.
This movie successively made me questioning about the love I'm so proud of this whole time. Does it still allowed to call it love when your heart decided to give it to random person? because people said you can't choose to whom you fall in love. It happened to Alan Turing. His heart chose Christopher like we all have to our loved one. Homosexual had been a sensitive issue this day. But this movie brings some questions to me personally. How can a love called love? Should it be in the right place as always or we all actually can not choose at all?

Divergent Movie -- After Watch

I won't make any review about it, I think you guys already know maybe better than me and I have to admit that I'm soooo late to know it-- as always :(

I watched it today and officially become a fan of this story. I never know about the novel *sigh~~* but I've heard some rumors about the movie but it wasn't on my waiting list. I came to the theater to watch another movie but then me and my boyfriend debated about what should we watch and I won *as always toooo.. haha!*
He didn't really excited because I told him the story is about romance, when lately I know it much more than that. I'm planning on reading the novel soon. I kindly person who loves novel more than the movie actually, considering in novel you are totally free to imagine every scene and every moment for your own self.

(Drama/ Movie Review) Who is Jane Eyre?

After a bleak childhood, Jane Eyre goes out into the world to become a governess. As she lives happily in her new position at Thornfield Hall, she meets the dark, cold, and abrupt master of the house, Mr. Rochester. Jane and her employer grow close in friendship and she soon finds herself falling in love with him. Happiness seems to have found Jane at last, but could Mr. Rochester's terrible secret be about to destroy it forever?Written by Mel Bellis in the U.K.

I begin it with a question, “Who is Jane Eyre?”. First thing comes out of my mind when I hear someone mentions “Jane Eyre”. “Who is that?” Or sometimes maybe “What is that?”. If I were asking “Who” then I bet we are refering to someone, a girl, a woman with pale skin and very long hair. Name “Jane” is very popular to describe an innocent girl with beautiful dream. But this Jane, our Jane Eyre, is different.

The first scene in this movie is opened by Jane Eyre herself. She opens the door and run from nothing. Why do I say nothing? Because we could see someone or something run to her, but in reality, she is hiding from her past and her mind. She is whispering as her begining sentence and say, “I’ll die...”. From this sentence, I think we could catch a very little chunk of her character which is tried to be described by the director that Jane is really lonely.

I’ve read a bit the novel and quote her cousin John Reed says, “...you are a dependent, mama says; you have no money; your father left you none; you ought to beg, and not to live here with gentlemen's children like us, and eat the same meals we do, and wear clothes at our mama's expense...”. In this story, they put Jane as an outcast that Jane grew up to be someone who would appreciate loyalty in her own way as to her friend Helen. While, Mr. Rochester is really strong for him self. He also a smart man asking Jane some question about herself. Jane, sometimes could be intimidated by his words, but she depends well.

This movie is quite unique because we could find forward and reverse plot. Starting from adult Jane and come to her past played slowly to explain what had happened to her. The extrinsic element maybe seen from the culture at that time which forbidden woman to be more than man as Jane said to Mrs. Fairfax when she is looking out of the window at Thornfield Hall. The christian school as Lowood Institution also make me think that sometimes school and its rule can be a nightmare for a little girl like Jane and Helen.

In conclusion, I agree if we say that “Jane Eyre” movie is great, even unique in sending message about someone’s character, what could happen to a very young girl in her life and the most important thing is every single person deserves happiness.

Trailer : Warm Bodies

This is a new movie from Summit Entertainment adapted from a novel with the same title written by Issac Marion written and directed by Jonathan Levine.

I love the monologue in the 4 minutes first told by the main character "R".

" What am I doing with my life? I just want to connect. Why can't I connect with people? Oh, right. It's because i'm dead. I wish I could introduce my self, but I don't remember my name.  I think it's started with an 'R'."

He's a zombie who wants to connect with people.
No one remember about what happened in the past or the reason why do they stuck in the airport as R.
Then he meet a human girl named Julie.
Then, I think you could guess what's gonna happen next between them :)
What makes this story is different than others maybe it's due to its point of view.
Unlike other stories, the writer wrote in the perspective of R as the zombie.
He's kinda funny guy!

You can see that now there are so many novels or movies about supernatural love story like Abandon series by Meg Cabot-- a girl who fall in love with  Lord of the Underworld--  and Fallen series by Lauren Kate -- love story about human and angel. Similar with what happen in Twilight -- human girl and a vampire.
But my favorite after all could be The Mediator by Meg Cabot. The story about Suze and Jesse the ghost are so great and the twisty ending. I love how Meg closed the story :)

Thai Movie : ATM Er rak Error

I am freaking crazy about this movie!
It is so funny and refreshing at the same time...
What being my focus is the relationship between the couple Sua ( Chantavit Dhansevi) and Jib (Preechaya Pongthananikorn)-- how they met for the first time and how they can be a couple.

They are an enganged couple running a competition to investigate an error ATM case in Chonburi.
You can meet Ex (Succeed) or his real name is Thawat Pornrattanaprasert here...
Preechaya was very beautiful and Korean-girl alike... I can't barely distinguis her appearance to korean actreess but her accent :) She was so cute also...
And Ter (Hello Stranger) was a very handsome man with funny expression... Everytime I remember his face I always laugh hard!

Here is the international trailer.

It's a little review about an Indonesian Movie I watched just couple weeks ago.

Milli and Nathan liked each other from high school in Bandung. Nathan is a smart student who likes to help Milli study. Milli is a humorous girl. She always tell Nathan to not being so serious. They were dating. Until high school, Nathan went to his dream university in Jakarta but, Milli still stayed in Bandung. Nathan decided to broke up with her because he wanted to concentrate with his study in college. Milli otherwise, does not like college, she wanted to be a novelist. They still miss each other. Milli until finally really quit college and wrote a book.

In Milli's visit to Jakarta, he met Nathan again. They let go of longing like the courtship. Milligan returned to Bandung by believing that they are back together. Unfortunately, Nathan did not think so. Milli was so disappointed. Launching his first novel, Milli was accompanied by a new boyfriend. Nathan came over and expressed regret, ask Milli back to being her boyfriend again. Milli angry. According to Milligan, Nathan was casually coming and going in his life. Milli does not accept Nathan

Nathan returned to Jakarta and successfully graduated. Milli busy again with his second novel. Milligan then broke up with her boyfriend. Nathan returned to Bandung. They are in touch again, a commitment to remain in obscurity. Until Nathan gave the news that she will marry ... with another woman and will move to Jakarta. Milli shocked. Disappointed and angry

Life continues. Milli remove Nathan from his life. Until finally Milli know that Nathan never really left.
